Norman Lane Is Awarded the “Karl Schiller Member of the Year Award”

We’re grateful and proud to share some exciting news! Our very own President, Norman Lane, was honored with the “Karl Schiller Member of the Year Award” at the 44th Annual Volusia Manufacturing Association (VMA) Awards Banquet held earlier last month.

This annual event celebrates the incredible individuals and companies driving innovation and excellence in our local manufacturing community. As Jessica Lovatt, VMA’s President & CEO, put it, “This year’s honorees exemplify the talent, dedication, and vision that are propelling the manufacturing sector forward in Volusia and Flagler Counties.”

Why Norman Won

In her introduction, Jessica had this to say about Norman: “Norman Lane is a wonderful man with such a big heart. His dedication to enriching everyone’s lives around him is remarkable. Norman’s dedication to the manufacturing sector in our community has made Volusia County the number one place in the world to own a manufacturing company. The work he does with high school students to make sure we have future engineers is awe inspiring and because of this he won the coveted Karl Schiller Member of the year award.”

We couldn’t agree more! Norman’s passion for manufacturing and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers is truly inspiring. He embodies the spirit of innovation and community that makes Volusia County’s manufacturing sector so special.
